​​Congratulations to Erin Sparnon, Health Devices engineering manager, for winning the 2014 ACCE-HIMSS Excellence in Clinical Engineering and Information Technology Synergies Award. The award—a joint honor sponsored by the American College of Clinical Engineering (ACCE) and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS)—recognizes leadership in implementing and promoting alliances between the clinical engineering and IT professions. Sparnon won the award for her work as an advocate for patient safety in health IT and medical device integration.
