  • The Zingbox IoT Guardian uses machine learning technology to identify, secure, and optimize usage of Internet of medical things (IoMT) devices on the network. Using device risk profiles, FDA recall notifications, and integration with IT security systems, it provides real-time visibility of IoMT device inventory and performs vulnerability assessment across the entire organization, allowing customers to establish a baseline for device behaviors, send alerts, identify and manage vulnerabilities, and trigger remediation and mitigation actions for devices showing untrusted behavior.
  • Major components and software features:
    • Analyzer and management console: Offered as a cloud-based service, Zingbox Cloud. No on-premises option is offered. The software modules available on the IoT Guardian platform include:
      • Discovery module: Identifies and establishes baseline behavior of IoMT devices on the network
      • Security module: Recommends network security controls, performs vulnerability assessments, integrates with other management systems
      • Insights module: Provides utilization and business analytics of devices
    • Collectors: Zingbox Inspectors—available with the following deployment options:
      • Hardware appliances. Available in the following tiers based on peak network bandwidth:
        • Starter: 100 Mbps bandwidth
        • Minimum: 500 Mbps bandwidth
        • Standard: 1 Gbps bandwidth
        • Advanced: 10 Gbps bandwidth
      • Virtual appliances—the following deployment options are available:
