Preview
- The MobileDaRt Evolution MX8 is used primarily for the following:
- General adult 2D radiographs, mostly chest x-ray
- Pediatric and neonatal radiographs
- Orthopedic radiographs
- Major components and software features:
- Motorized wheeled cart with telescopic column for positioning the tube head unit
- Cart size (L × W): 128.5 × 56.0 cm (50.6 × 22 in)
- Cart weight: 440 kg (970 lb)
- Column maximum horizontal extension: 120.3 cm (47.4 in)
- Batteries: the system has a high-capacity sealed lead-acid battery (9 Ah), and Shimadzu states the battery can provide power for more than 150 exposures at 100 kV/400 mA at 10 sec intervals.
- Motor drives
- The unit has dual motor drives (one for each powered wheel), allowing a zero turn radius.
- The system has fine-positioning controls in the tube head unit.
- X-ray generator—The system has a 32 kW generator.
- X-ray tube—The x-ray tube has a 1,060 kHU heat capacity and a 10,200 HU/min cooling rate.
- Computer (integrated workstation)—The computer has a touch-enabled 19-inch flat display, and most items on the screen can be viewed clearly at different angles.
- Detectors
- Shimadzu offers cesium iodide (CsI) scintillators with a pixel size of 100 or 175 microns for Konica detectors or 125 microns for Canon detectors
- Detectors are three sizes:
- Large detector with an active image area of 43.18 × 43.18 cm (17 × 17 in) and a weight of 3.8 kg (8.4 lb)
- Medium detector with an active image area of 35.56 × 43.18 cm (14 × 17 in) and a weight of 3.3 kg (7.3 lb)
- Small detector with an active image area of 27.94 × 23.56...
