Asimily Insight is a connected device management solution focused on healthcare. The system aggregates data from different sources like network traffic, Microsoft Active Directory, Asimily's research, and online sources to assist in inventory, risk monitoring, and vulnerability management. The system also provides insight into how devices interact with each other on the network, provides asset utilization and FDA recall monitoring, and integrates with network infrastructure to provide segmentation of devices into categories with different security rules. In addition, it offers device location tracking, as well as the monitoring of a vendor's remote access activities.
The Asimily Insight system consists of the following components:
- Collector: The Edge processor is a hardware appliance that gathers network traffic, either by port mirroring (i.e., switched port analyzer SPAN port) or by network taps. Asimily can also provide the Edge processor in software form, which can be loaded within the facility's existing environment.
