Evaluation: GE Corometrics 259cx Fetal Monitor


The monitor performs well overall and can detect coincidence of heart rate values from different sources. However, it does a poor job of indicating coincidence to the user. Additionally, the disabling and silencing of alarms can be confusing and could potentially lead to alarm conditions being overlooked or forgotten.
