Alarm Management Tool: Alarm Management Team Roster

This is one of a series of tools developed by ECRI Institute to support alarm management teams in their efforts to improve clinical alarm safety, and thus meet the Joint Commission's National Patient Safety Goal on Alarm Management (NPSG.06.01.01). One of the first steps in complying with NPSG.06.01.01—and, more broadly, in managing clinical alarms—is the creation of a multidisciplinary alarm management team. ECRI Institute developed this sample roster to guide hospitals in creating the team and in documenting its structure. Add or delete staff from the table as necessary to meet the needs of your hospital's alarm management effort.
