The purpose of this report is to evaluate the U.S. Social Security Administration's (SSA's) current Listing of Impairments ("Listings") for determining disability in individuals with chronic renal failure (CRF). Renal failure occurs when the kidneys lose their ability to filter wastes from the blood.
