The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a November 26, 2014, transmittal showing changes to Appendix PP of the State Operations Manual, its guidance for long-term care surveyors. The changes incorporate survey and certification policy memoranda issued from fiscal year 2003 through May 2014.
