Free Webinar, Resources for Pressure Ulcer Prevention Day

​In honor of this week's World Wide Pressure Ulcer Prevention Day, the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP) has made available a series of tools and hosted a webinar on pressure ulcer risk assessment and how the assessment should be used to shape the goals of care. The webinar, which was recorded and will be posted online for free, highlights the differing goals of pressure ulcer risk prediction and risk assessment, emphasizing in particular the state of the evidence for interventions such as the use of special support surfaces and repositioning.
