Percentage of Older Adults Who Use Social Media Tripled over Five Years

​The percentage of older adults who use social media has more than tripled in the past five years, according to an October 8, 2015, report from Pew Research Center. The report is based on 27 surveys and interviews with 62,000 adults. As of 2015, 35% of adults age 65 or older use social media, compared with only 11% in 2010 and 2% in 2005.
