A hospice provider has agreed to pay the United States approximately $5.86 million under the False Claims Act following allegations of fraud for submitting false claims for continuous home care hospice services to patients who were not eligible for this type of treatment, according to a September 3, 2015, news release from the U.S. Department of Justice.
