OIG: More Work Needed to Implement Requirements for National Background Check Program

Only 2 of 11 states were able to implement all requirements of the National Background Check Program for long-term care employees by the end of their program participation in 2017 and 2018, according to a report issued in August 2019 by the Office of Inspector General (OIG), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
