The Interventions to Reduce Acute Care Transfers (INTERACT) program now offers tools specific to assisted-living settings, according to a recent announcement from the American Assisted Living Nurses Association (AALNA). The tools were developed with involvement from representatives from AALNA, the National Center for Assisted Living, and other stakeholders, as well as INTERACT project director Joseph G. Ouslander, MD. The tools are available for free to the public. Overview documents and an implementation guide are included.
