The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has released a new, free smartphone application to give responders better access during a disaster to critical behavioral health resources when they need them. Designed to help responders focus on providing quality support to survivors, the SAMHSA Behavioral Health Disaster Response App allows users to navigate predeployment preparation, on-the-ground assistance, postdeployment resources, and more at the touch of a button from their smartphone’s home screen.
