A company that managed 12 separately owned and operated skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) has agreed to pay over $3 million to settle allegations that it received kickbacks from ambulance companies in exchange for Medicare and Medicaid transport referrals, reports a news release updated February 4, 2016, from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the southern district of Texas.
