Nursing Home Resident Falls Fourth Time, Breaking Hip and Dying One Month Later; $225,000 Verdict

A resident broke her hip the fourth time she fell while living at a nursing home, dying one month later. In a lawsuit the resident's estate brought in Massachusetts state court against the nursing home, a $225,000 verdict was returned for the estate, according to an article in the July 2021 Medical Malpractice Verdicts, Settlements & Experts.
