What's the news. Hospitalized adult patients wearing Smart Socks while on fall risk protocol experienced zero falls, according to an August 2022 Journal of Nursing Care Quality study. Smart Socks contain pressure sensors that detect when a patient is trying to stand up and alert the three closest nurses through a corresponding Smart Badge notification device.
