National survey results found more than 85% of respondents reported that hearing difficulty either moderately or extremely impacted the quality of care provided to patients when wearing masks during COVID-19 pandemic, according to a research letter published in the July 6, 2021, issue of the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society.
