ECRI Institute, a leader in medical equipment planning and procurement support, is hosting the free educational seminar, Healthcare Facility Leadership: Addressing New Design Challenges, at the Center for Architecture and Design in Philadelphia, PA.

The seminar includes a keynote presentation by Main Line Health’s JoAnn Magnatta, an ECRI Institute-led session on UV-technology infection prevention strategies, and an AIA/CES-registered 1 LU-credit course, Acuity-Adaptable Patient Rooms: Simplifying the Patient Flow from Admission to Discharge.

Learning objectives

  • Define "acuity-adaptable patient room" and its various components
  • Recognize the benefits to an acuity-adaptable room design
  • Identify key stakeholders within the health system to bring to the table early in design
  • Discuss issues related to acuity-adaptable room design, equipment procurement, and workflow implementation

This program is intended for architects, project managers, and directors of facilities and construction. Registrations from medical device or pharmaceutical industry representatives, or independent consultants, will not be accepted.
