To help biomedical engineering personnel and technicians sharpen their skills through hands-on classes, ECRI Institute is offering a new training program. The Biomedical Engineering Competency Training (BECT®) program, organized by the ECRI Institute Asia Pacific office, teaches hands-on technology management, operation, and maintenance and repair techniques of medical equipment.

The seven-session, self-contained program features a simulation-based learning approach with five medical equipment and two technology management programs.

This program is intended for, but not limited to, junior to senior level clinical/biomedical engineering personnel, clinical/biomedical technicians, and clinical/biomedical service managers.
