PSO Plus

Public View

Healthcare providers have raw data, but they don't always have the time or systems needed to turn that data into actionable clinical, quality, and safety insights. ECRI Institute PSO aggregates data from many disparate sources and helps participants use the knowledge from analyzing it to make healthcare safer. With ECRI Institute PSO, hospitals, physician offices, and providers throughout the continuum of care can:

  • Share information and compare experiences with other providers
  • Learn best practices to fix your specific problems
  • Take action to protect your patients—and your bottom line

Improve Quality and Prevent Reductions in Medicare Reimbursement

CMS finalized the Medicare Access and CHIP (Children's Health Insurance Program) Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) and physician practices need to take action. The majority of medical practices need to participate in the new Merit Incentive-based Payment System (MIPS). CMS has set up an interactive website to help providers determine what will work best for them.

ECRI Institute can help providers meet two MIPS requirements with:

  1. Participation in ECRI Institute PSO
  2. Completion of ECRI’s online version of the AHRQ Culture of Safety survey
