Ronni P. Solomon, JD, serves as executive vice president and chief policy and external affairs officer at ECRI Institute. She is responsible for developing strategic opportunities and relationships in the public and private sectors consistent with ECRI Institute’s mission and vision to advance effective, evidence-based care. In this role, she has overall responsibility for ECRI Institute’s external affairs programs, including policy initiatives, government relations, alliances, and legal and regulatory affairs.
Solomon brings extensive experience in building and shaping many programs that improve healthcare quality and safety across the continuum of care. She held a number of senior roles at ECRI Institute that span the organization’s activities, including serving as executive vice president and general counsel. She developed and led many ECRI Institute initiatives and programs for the public and private sectors and forged many partnerships and alliances.
She participates in numerous programs and committees in the U.S. and internationally, serving as an advocate for safe, effective patient care and the critical role of technology, culture, and leadership. She lectures frequently, and has authored several book chapters and articles.
Solomon received her law degree from Delaware Law School with honors and completed her undergraduate studies at Temple University.
