Enhance your skills with valuable hands-on training in biomedical engineering.
A training program for newly graduated biomedical engineers and technicians is now available through ECRI Institute’s Asia-Pacific regional office. The course is run in collaboration with Flinders Biomedical Engineering (FBE) of Flinders Medical Center of South Australia.
Gain In-Depth Knowledge and Practical Skills
The modular program covers medical equipment management principles, theoretical and practical aspects of medical equipment maintenance, and provides hands-on training.
The primary objective is to provide biomedical engineers and technicians with the knowledge and skills to maintain 90% of the medical equipment used for clinical services in hospitals.
The modules are delivered by experienced practicing biomedical engineering personnel and course material will be provided.
Customize Your Learning
The program includes 6 self-contained modules of 5 days duration each and you can choose the modules that best suit your needs.
Modules 1 to 3 cover managing maintenance activities and include in-depth practical training on maintenance of common biomedical devices.
Modules 4 to 6 provide a detailed understanding of more specialized medical equipment and systems. Upon completion of all modules, a certificate of achievement will be awarded to participants by ECRI Institute and FBE.
